Darrell has a B.S. degree from West Chester University, a M.A. degree from Moody Graduate School and is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Bible. At West Chester University he was actively involved in the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (National and Regional Officer) and the N.A.A.C.P. (Board of Directors, West Chester Branch). He has taught at several schools and is a member of several national boards. He has been listed in, “National Register’s Who’s Who In Executives And Business”, “Who’s Who of Professional Management”, “Who’s Who Among Students In American Universities and Colleges”, “International Youth In Achievement”, Alumni Scholarship –West Chester University, Synod of the Trinity Scholarship, Benjamin and Fredora K. Wolfe Scholarship and he was nominated for the “Outstanding Young Leaders of Philadelphia.” He is also the recipient of numerous other awards, honors and scholarships for his outstanding leadership qualities.

As a Specialist in Relationship Advice Darrell Made #1 on Google’s Top Ten List for How Men Think. He is the Relationship Columnist for WOW Magazine (a National Women’s Magazine) – Column entitled: “Keep It Steamin’ with D.V. Freeman”. He is the Director of Training for Delaware Fatherhood & Family Coalition (DFFC) and the Director of Training for Project Manhood.
